January is over.
Four weeks of killing:
Week 1: The one-foot-in prison
Week 2: The lies keeping you stuck
Week 3: The drag pulling you backward
Week 4: The lukewarm commitment
The question now: What did you actually do about it?
Did you identify the lies you've been telling yourself? Did you cut some drag from your life? Did you kill your backup plan? Did you pick a side—hot or cold—instead of staying lukewarm?
Or did you read, nod along, and change nothing?
I'm not asking to shame you. I'm asking because I've been there.
I consumed content about commitment for years. Books. Podcasts. Videos. I knew all the concepts. Could explain them to anyone.
And I stayed stuck. Because knowing isn't doing.
The information was never the problem. My willingness to act on it was.
If you made real changes this month—if you killed something that was holding you back—good. Keep going. February is for building.
If you didn't—if January was just more content consumption—that's okay. But be honest about it.
You have a choice right now. You can close this email and forget about it. Or you can do one thing today that moves you from knowing to doing.
One thing.
Delete an app. Send a text setting a boundary. Make a commitment public. Kill a backup plan. Whatever it is.
The line is still there. Waiting for you to cross it.
This month we killed. Next month we build.
The Draw The Line framework has four parts:
Kill The Lie ✓
Kill The Drag ✓
Kill The Lukewarm ✓
Execute Daily ← This is February
See you there.
Done negotiating.
